Back to Bangkok with Thai Airways.

After a relatively short stay in Japan , it's time to go back to Bangkok.

This time I fly with Thai Airways after a long absence.


The day before I left for Thailand, it was raining heavily here.

As soon as I arrived here from Haneda and checked into the hotel, I hurried to board the Airport Express.

It was about 30 minutes ride, so it was fine with a non-reserved seat, but I rushed into the train in a hurry and ended up buying a reserved premium seat by mistake .


Since it was my first time in the area, I was worried about whether I would be able to get to the ticket gate of the terminal station.
however, I was relieved to be able to quickly find a familiar face at the gate.
A few years ago, when my friend's husband was stationed in Bangkok, she visited show room "Sheen' many times. 
She came out and waited for me at the ticket gate at Sapporo station . . .far from Bangkok where we  saw each other last time.

Here is Sapporo.

I was very moved when I landed for the first time in the long-desired land of Hokkaido.　

Before I got married, my permanent address was Hokkaido. My father was born in Hokkaido, and after he came to school in Tokyo, he has lived in Tokyo for whole his life.

However, it was Hokkaido that I never visited because I had no chance.

It was a short stay this time, but it was really nice to have the opportunity to walk around Odori Park, drink wine and see Sapporo at night. Thank you very much for your kindness, Mrs. E.

My actions might sound like this.
The next morning, I was waiting for Thai Airways from New Chitose Airport to Bangkok.


I bought this as a souvenir for the staff and tax accountants waiting in Thailand.
I didn't know whether it was delicious or not, but I bought it in a hurry.

I had originally planned to take my time exploring the shops in the airport, but the shops inside the airport opened much later than expected, and the shop area inside New Chitose Airport was so vast that I might have to take my time looking around.  When I was walking around, the first thing I saw was this...If you are Dosanko  ( hokkaido residents) , do you recommend this ?

From Sapporo, I headed to Bangkok on a direct flight by Thai Airways.

Jewelry is the same today , my favorite Golden seed pearl necklace and 
Thai alphabet name pendant.


And today, Saturday the 8th,
I will be at Sheen in the afternoon.

I came to the store wearing this bracelet today.

Bracelets have become a necessity for me these days.



Tomorrow is Sunday, so I will take a rest.

March 10 2023 On a quiet Sunday afternoon, I went to  the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River  to take a walk for exercising in an unknown place that was  close and easy to reach.  Take the BTS to  Krung Thonburi station, transfer to the monorail  and get off at Khlong San station,and   enter the narrow road beside the Bangkok bank  then head towards the river.  It was said that  there was a local market, but most of the stalls were  empty probably because of the covid 19 epidemic.   I kept walking closer to the river, I found a  warehouse-like building .  It is a simple black-painted  old building, Sign says" The Jam Factory" .   It may have been a warehouse in the past because  it is close to the pier.   I saw the light inside, so I entered. it is a gallery of well designed furniture and lighting.    There is a cafe and a bookstore in the back.   There were m...

Although it is a natural opal, black opal whose background color is darkened by smoke is sold in Bangkok, but there are various problems in its processing, and polishing craftsmen continue to be troubled to solve them. If you search the net, you will find only negative things, such as the natural play-of-color (play-of-color effect) disappears when you polish it, or it becomes dark like a cloud and cannot be repaired. I asked for professional opinion, but I didn't get an answer because smoke treatment is done in Africa not in Bangkok.
