I think many Japanese people may think of 800 years old Japanese story "The Tale of the Heike" when they hear the word "sal tree flower". when I made jewelry with that flower motif for the first time was 7-8 years ago.
For this summer, we have created a new bangle with a different finish and a slightly redesigned Sala Soju ring (twin sal tree ring).
The bracelet I made before has become a part of my arm, and I wear it every day when I go to work. I think people who come to Sheen think, "You always wear the same bracelet. You really like it."

When I return to Japan, I wear it all the time, mainly in the spring and summer, and it is like a talisman.
The flower of the sal tree is a flower that has been talked about for a long time in history. For example, in the famous classical mythology of India, the tree where the goddess sits on is this tree. The flower is said to be a symbol of prosperity. In Buddhism, it is said that when Buddha was born, the flowers of the sal tree opened, and this is the reason why it is said that these flowers bring good luck and prosperity.
For this reason, it is believed that jewelry with motifs of sal tree flowers will bring good luck and prosperity, and it is said that it is often used as a talisman jewelry for those who wish for success and prosperity in their work. That's why I love the delicately engraved bracelets and rings that depict the floral motif of the sal tree. I struggled with the details of designing it so that it doesn't feel bulky or heavy for every day use, but also has a design that gives an impression of volume.
Since it contains diamonds, the gold center parts that sparkle when the light hits are made separately from the bangle body to give it a three-dimensional effect, and then it is inserted and welded finally.
This time, the design of the ring was slightly changed, and I tried to create a moderate volume that could be worn on any finger.
It looks stylish when worn on the index finger.

The whole band is thick, so you can see the sides.

Wearing it on your middle finger gives you a sense of balance and security.

It's a pretty voluminous ring, but it's strange because it looks elegant when worn on the ring finger.
The size of the ring varies depending on the finger, but even if you choose a larger size, it will stick to your finger easily, so I chose this ring to match my middle finger.
As you all know, the ring size is really annoying, and depending on the season and physical condition, your finger may become thicker or thinner, and each time the ring may not fit or become loose, A ring with a large center stone and thin ring arms will not settle down because the stone will move left and right if the size is large. One idea is to wear another ring to suppress the moving ring.
For a thick band ring like Sala Soju's ring, if you want the size of your ring finger, you might want to choose a larger one to fit your middle finger.
It will go on sale in Japan in early June.

I know I will be back to Japan soon, but...
I'm in the final stages of shipment, which has to be completed before I return to Japan, so I'm currently concentrating on it every day.
Well then!
