The brightness of the Platinum color which attract the yellow gold fan too.

In Bangkok these days, when you step outside of an air-conditioned office building, you will feel as if you had opened a hot oven and were bathed in heated air.

We are in the hottest time of the year. By the way, Bangkok has only three seasons. Which is Hot, Hotter, and the Hottest, and now it's in the Hottest!　　

The streets of Bangkok are full of tropical fruits.

Well, today I'm wearing a new bracelet that is from tropical flower motif.

 what's the new?   If you are a customer of Sheen, I think there are some people who feel that way.

Sala flower bangle is our showroom Sheen's popular item, which is made by engraving the flower motif of Sal tree (a noble tree in Buddhism and Hindu culture ) in the  Florence style  which creates a three-dimensional effect. The center petal part is embedded in real yellow gold and has 3 diamonds each, making it a high-end bracelet with a total of 9 diamonds.

This is a new work produced as a revised version.　

The big difference is that platinum 750 is applied to the silver part of the main body. Rhodium was used previously. Rhodium plating is a white color finish on the yellowish-gray  base metal of 925 silver or the slightly yellowish base metal of white gold.　　　　

The white shine that envelops the color of the base metal is refreshing, but there are also many people who do not like rhodium because it shines too white and hides the original taste of silver base metal. However, if silver is left as it is, it will oxidize as time passes, and turn black or yellow (although polishing with a special cloth will make it look pretty clean), so it looks a very casual and antique-like  jewelry if not used rhodium. So , it's good choice to plate with platinum.

I like to wear big silver bangles in summer. The old Sara flower bangle is actually my favorite, and even though I don't think the rhodium color matches my tanned yellow arm, I love it so much that I wear it every day.　　

The new model is platinum-plated. You can feel the solid, slightly grayish glow of the platinum texture, and the glow is somewhat more black than pure white, and it shines without self-conscious even on my yellowish skin. I felt the weight of silver jewelry for matured, and it gave the impression that the engraving of "Sala Soju "( In Japanese language, the twin Sal trees which surrounded the body of Buddha when he passed away.) in Florence style was given a moderate brilliance.

And the long-awaited new ring will be pre-sold in Japan from June.

The ring is more solid and thick volume.
The sample has just been completed, but I'm still not deciding whether to use this ring on my middle finger or index finger.

If you wear it on your middle finger, it will make your finger look slender.



In fact, this sal tree flower motif has already been created in gold jewelry, and it is still a popular item at showroom Sheen.The impression of the gold version is different from that of the silver version, but I think it's a diamond ring that gives the impression of the loveliness of the flowers of the sal tree. I often wear this ring and the holly olive ring together when I want to emphasize the gold color. The photo above is a worn personal ring, so it has a lot of scratches and the color is a little dark (because I am a jeweler, it needs to be cleaned  ) , but I think it's still good .

Sal tree flowers... have you ever seen the real thing?
I have seen it in a temple garden outside of Bangkok, Thailand.
