I met up with my friends at Happoen in Shirokanedai, which I rarely go to unless I am invited to a wedding.

According to the weather forecast, it was supposed to be sunny, so we decided to sit on the cafe terrace and enjoy the cherry blossom garden...
It was a cloudy and cold day, so we left the terrace seat with a glass of cold Chardonnay while wearing my coat.

Before I left home, I was wondering what to wear to a gathering of discerning women... Should I wear a white rose or an imperial?

After all, I chose a simple ring of Imperial Jade, which is the new design but with  somewhat classic taste .

The ring has a basic design and does not add the light of diamonds, so you can wear casually at any occasion.
When I actually put it on, I felt that I could wear it stylishly without being too conservative because it didn't have diamonds. Old conservative jade ring has always a lot of diamonds around the center jade.



Happo-en was bustling with wedding people, perhaps because of the good weather, and there was a happy aura emanating from here and there, and I felt happy too.

Unfortunately, more than half of the cherry blossoms had already fallen, but we strolled around the garden while chatting about where we took a photo when we attended my friend's wedding party a long time ago.

While timidly looking at the big fat carp, which seemed to be well-fed, we got excited while talking about old forgotten stories such as, "Come to think of it, fish with human faces were popular thriller story , isn't it ?"

For lunch, we moved to a restaurant on Platinum Street where my friend reserved a seat despite the sudden reservation.
A lot of spicy dishes in Peruvian cuisine? I was expecting that, but the new and sophisticated dishes were very good with the right amount of South American spices! The casual atmosphere was also wonderful, and it became a place that I definitely want to visit again.



Since it was a daytime gathering, I needed something elegant that didn't shine too brightly, so something like Imperial Jade that was gorgeous but not too showy was perfect for classy jewelry! I felt that.


I thought that the ring arm was made thicker and the satin finish added a sense of luxury to the classy design.

The discreet real sparkle is wonderful for mature lady's daytime outings.

Our new year dishes- fusion style.

 Even when I'm busy, I usually make something myself, but this year (not something I'm proud of   ) I didn't make any osechi dishes. "Osechi" is traditional  Japanese new year dishes. The last day for work in 2023 was December 29th, and everyone at the workshop  worked to the fullest until the end for the coming shipment set in mid January.  I had predicted in advance that this would happen, so I made a reservation for New Year's dishes at a restaurant in Bangkok, just like last year, knowing that I would probably not have time to prepare the dishes because I would be so busy with cleaning. On the 30th, I cleaned my house, but it took a lot of time to clean the kitchen and bathroom, the washing machine was running at full speed, and I couldn't finish all the work I had planned on that day.  Chef T went  out to the field to fly, so I ended up shopping late at night.
